i hear dwarf unemployment got so bad that seven of them, some of whom had mental and physical disabilities, were forced to share a house with their landlady, who later slipped into a coma. i think there was a documentary about it or something.

I think that show is Kate + 8, but I am not sure who the eighth one is.

This has got to be a joke. For one, I noted two typos on that page, one in the article itself. They wrote "through" instead of "throw". No reputable newspaper lets that slip. Also, at the top there were other articles and one was about a dwarf going on a rant. Sorry guys, I'm calling BS.

And this -THIS- is exactly why I keep coming back to TalkBass.

When you become director of a large music festival you'll get a LOT of crappy emails of junk vendors, bad cover bands, and useless spamming.

This opens the door for discrimination suits by full-size people wanting to be tossed.

I'd volunteer just to see who could throw me.

Oh, you'd be surprised...

More and more, I see so-called professional news stories that read as if they were edited by a crew of semi-literate eighth-graders: a lot of really stupid stuff - like confusing words such as "cite" with "site", or "pair" with "pare"...

Even the revered New York Times see its share of stupid typos. The Times, it is a-changin'...

well... it was made illegal in the first place because some people were bringing in their 2 year-old kids and claiming they were dwarves just to get an unfair advantage... man, people will cheat at anything!

and, what about that women's dwarf tossing team at USC?... they don't get any pub!

i think the Title 9 folks need to get involved.

the long and short of it is, dwarf unemployment is no small thing.
