Ok, so everyone remembers how much last winter just sucked worse than a pineapple in the butt, but what's the forcast for this winter? Are we supposedly in for another half year of ice and snow? Or is this one going to be mild in comparison? Are there going to be an El Ninos or Ninas or somesuch nonsense that is going to be the result of much shrinkage? I just want to be mentally prepared for it.

I'm expecting this all winter considering it was only really cold for about a week and ever since its slowly been getting warmer.
Brown winters ftw, I hate snow.

But yeah, the Prairies look to be in for a long cold spell. Although I moved to NS 3 months ago from Calgary I still keep tabs on the weather there out of habit.

I'll be going back home (Oshawa) on Wednesday for two weeks. Supposedly there is snow, but mixed with rain. |

The only thing I can gurantee about this winter is that it will be cold and windy. This is a huge surprise to me as I've lived in the Midwest my entire life. 
The main thing that I'm hoping for is less ice-I can deal with the snow.
