Forums upset me!

I love this forum...

...but can't we all just get along...

?

I hope this promotes discussion, rather than turning into an excuse for people to argue. I'm a big boy, and I can take any criticism of my blog post, but won't enjoy you guys arguing about the topic...

Well - if forums upset you - then you always have the option to stay away...

Hiya, bruce!

I think you missed my point a bit...

As I said in the post, I love it here. Love what it offers. Love what it gives. And as I mentioned, there is no better resource on the internet. And again, that's why I became a supporting member.

My point was concerning the arguments about taste.

Maybe I should have chosen a better thread title!

Forums are places where people can argue civilly, and discuss topics. It would be a dull world indeed if everyone shared the same opinions. Just because someone disagrees with you does not mean they think you are wrong. Also, as forums go, I think TB is one of the most polite.

I think you missed my winky smiley - it was a joke!

I have been on this forum for over 10 years now, been there, seen it all.....

Ah, sorry man!

I was down your way judging to see if I can do some solo bass nights in some cafes etc, and maybe some solo busking!

Not the same laws as Canterbury, though. Done some great gigs down in Brighton, especially the concorde 2.

Do you play much?

Kris,

I am sorry that you misinterpreted my remark. It was a tongue in cheek response to the overall tone of your blog. I read your blog and I do agree with what you said. I was merely making a joke in regards to your statement about differing opinions that are ofter encountered here on TB as well as other forums.
If I offended you or anyone else I apologize unreservedly but I am in total agreement with your blog.

Regards,
Steve
