Seeing Billy Gibbons was an unexpected surprise, especially since I had already been listening to ZZ Top a lot lately. I had already anticipated--along with many others--that Will Ferrell might come out with a cowbell. It was a great finale. I won't be watching Leno and I won't be watching Letterman; I've never liked either one of them. But I will be watching Conan when he returns on a new network. BTW, NBC is crap and I hope they continue to sink in the ratings. Leno is not funny, has never been funny and never will be funny.

!?!?!?! Where? I didn't see him. I saw Ben Harper with a lap steel, but where was Randolph?

Conan's solo wasn't awe-inspiring or anything. But I've jammed with worse players who thought they were real bluesmen.

Conan didn't have any overdrive on his guitar. If he did he would have sounded better on his solo.

I greatly enjoyed it. I thought Conan's solo was really fitting, it wasn't super flashy, but it was just what the song called for. That was the proper send off for Coco.

That whole bit didn't really do it for me. The group did rock out at points - no thanks to CoCo's feeble electric guitar licks or Will Ferrell's re-re-retreaded character.

Whatever - I'll miss Conan. Hope he re-emerges with the Weinberg band ASAP.

So, NBC is claiming intellectual property for a lot of Conan's stuff, but since Tom Hanks came up with Coco, will he still be able to use it?
