| Let's see, $435 per month for five years is $26100, enough to buy a nice car brand new if you want. That's if you put it in a bank, or under your mattress. If you put it into something like a stock index mutual fund, then your money grows (or shrinks) like the stock market.
In my view, the main thing is having the discipline to put this money away. That's pretty much what I have done, and I have never had to borrow for a car. |
