I finally managed to rid my entire iTunes library of all DRM ! I managed to find a program that would both remove DRM and convert the file to mp3 which made things really simple for me. I don't think I would've found if I hadn't run out of CD-RWs, lol.

My next few projects are:

1) To get album art for everything in my library (even if I have to make it )
2) To convert all files that aren't already so to .mp3 format

3) And to get lyrics for my metal and foriegn language playlists... this is going to take a while, lol

I probably won't go through with #2 simply because more and more devices are capable of reading unprotected AAC files so having them in a more accessible format may not be necessary plus I won't have to sacrifice any sound quality due to file converting. #1 and #3 I want to accomplish eventually though.

Images.google.com or the bing.com picture finder are your friends when it comes to finding album covers.

try mediamonkey.com

its like itunes, but it will research amazon for album covers and download them, save them for you automatically. doesn't work all the time, but its helped me a lot. it will also rename and organize you music files for you. a little buggy at times, but a great program none the less..

what did you use to clear drm? i usually burn and import as soon as i buy something...
