No. I'll be spending time in my own house with my g/f who I don't have to sneak around to have sex with. Also, when I get home from work this afternoon I'm going to throw my clothes right ont he lviing room floor and they will stay there until I feel like picking them up. 17 again? Not a chance. But you have fun sleeping on someone's lawn.

Yep... heading down to the local Choke'n'Puke for a pre-festivities burger, then going to the normal haunts to scare up a volunteer.

Got up at 0400 to be at work by 0545... Showed off my workcenter for the "dog and pony" show consisting of a bunch of British Royal Navy junior officers, now waiting to go home so I can hurry and eat, then get my **** for a long rehearsal with the band, then going home to party with my roommate and the people he's inviting over... maybe do manly things tonight if I'm sober enough... And if the Wii doesn't take it out of me.

Ahh yes, gracious living..... volunteering is so noble.

Get off of work, drop my bass off for a setup and talk about ordering a compressor and a new cab.
Stop by the liquor store pcik up some scotch for a pre bar buzz (helluva alot cheaper) then walk to the bar to meet up with some friends.
stop by the coney island for a pre pass out hot dog and go to bed.

pretty much what i plan opn doing.

17 was great as i had now responsibility, no bills, and a part time job, but being outside the comfort of mommy and daddys security blanket is much nicer.

And yes i still wake up on strange lawns.

I gotta go destroy the denizens of Detroit with an unhealthy blast of HEAVY ****** METAL. If you're within 20 miles of the I-Rock Night Club tonight, may Gawd have mercy upon your souls.

Expect your souls to be extimguished around 11:30pm. Maybe later. Depends on who's actually playing last, still dunno yet. I love gigs when they're wide open up in the air!!! Who cares... we'll ROCK when they want us to ROCK.

And for crap's sake... there is NOOOOOO SNOOOOOOW in the forecast for a freakin' change!!!!

Last minute gig. Still don't have a guitarist hooked up. Going to be a set of completely improvised dub jams. Could be really good. Could be really bad. But it's definitely good for the old chops.

Eh, I work until 12 AM on Friday nights, and that's on an early Friday. The girlfriend and I might get something to eat after work, but other than that nothing major today for me.

I think I'll work that into a line this evening. It'll probably wind up an epic FAIL... but striking out is half of the fun.

After I get from work around 2:30, I have a couple projects to wrap up around the house. When I'm done, I'll update the threads I started about them with pictures of the cork floor and tankless water heater.

When all of that is done, I'll head over to Home Depot to start gathering materials and tools for the next project.

At some point, we'll stop at the local "cool place to go right now" and have a bite to eat.

When all of that is done, I should have some time to resume my search for a 115 cabinet to go with my newly purchased combo.

MAKI: Here's your motivation.

Psychobilly.

Plug in some really fast Brian Setzer stuff, like Ghost Radio. High energy, fast walking bass lines, CHALLENGE.

I know psychobilly. Reverend Horton Head stuff. Doesn't help me with the dub too much. Unless I cut out about 80 percent of the notes on those walking basslines.

I have a gig tonight. Get to the club about 7:00, take the stage at 9:30, go home at 2:00 and do it all over again tomorrow night.

Good times!

Go to work, come home, get showered, watch Eastenders and Hollyoakes, play some Rainbow 6 LV2 then watch an episode of Shameless, and then sleep.
