I go damn hate it. It's boggy, buggy, and is slowing my phone down. Anyone go back to ios 3? Any issues involved with your apps not working if you do? |

Since then I've gone back to 3 and used a backup I had to make sure my apps would work.

Same thing happened to my Mum, they make you pay to restore it back to the old one too. Although there is a way around it, it took her a couple of hours to get it working again though.
Its a brilliant scheme. "Hmm, my iPhone is acting pretty slow, maybe I should go get the new one".

I don't know for sure, but I would bet that it would work with the iPhone 3G (disclaimer: do this at your own risk!)
Hopefully this helps with the sluggishness... |

| | | | There's nothing iOS 4 can do that a jailbreaked 3.0 can't do just as well.
So no, I never upgraded to 4 and won't until/if it's ever as fast as 3.0... which I seriously doubt. |

I'll give 4.1 a whirl (supposed to drop tomorrow), but I've got the above article bookmarked just in case. Only thing I miss after downgrading is the ability to edit ipod playlists on the phone instead of having to change them in itunes and sync. |

It stated something to the effect OS3 was too old for the iOS4 backup info on iTunes/my computer. |
