frozen beer?

Sign in to disble this ad
i put a few bottles of beer in the freezer to chill quickly and forgot about them. now they are frozen.

is it ok to thaw them out and drink them? will it hurt the flavor? have i invented the beercicle? beer cubes?

is this gonna be a find out for yourself situation?

what to do? what to do?

Every time this happened to me it always ended badly. Usually, the beer bottles cracked on me, or when I went to open them after they where drinkable, they continuously overflowed.

and, how did you forget about beer.....alcohol abuse!!!!!!

Yeah, they'll be flat, but drinkable. I'm very surprised they didn't explode on you... my roommate did that once with a 12 pack... left it in the chest freezer overnight and they all blew up, covering the bottom of the freezer in about 3 inches of frozen beer foam.

yea, it will be flat when it thaws. But a good brew will still be drinkable.

Congrats, you have some beer popsicles.

I assume it's hot in Oklahoma. Use that to your advantage.

Next time, pour beer into ice trays. Freeze beer into cubes. Put beer cubes into beer. Get drunk, and obviously make some bad decisions

Let them thaw cap on but don't expect miracles. This is why I prefer ales most of the time...if ya have to you can drink 'em at basement temperature.
