Never had the cookie, but In Michigan if you live south of Grayling or so, you are a Fudgie. It took me a while to come to terms with it, but yes, I am a fudgie. So are most of you.

My wife grew up about 20 miles south of the bridge. We don't have any colorful names for them, but she calls me a fudgie.
