:EDIT: It is worth noting, this guy did this BEFORE Borat.

I needed a swim suit for the company party at the beach, but it is hard to find one because I weigh 400lbs and most swim suits are for thinner people. I wore this to the company party and it was definitely an eye-catcher. Until the straps for the shoulders broke. That's why I'm only giving this 2 stars. Shortly after the party I lost my job.

My husband needed something to wear on our family vacation this summer, so he opted for this. At first he was a little nervous about wearing the mankini, since it was his first time meeting my entire family, but once everyone downed the first bottle of Jack Daniels the awkwardness just disappeared. As a matter of fact, I am seriously considering ordering one for my dad for Christmas.

Women!!! Besides getting a closer (albeit safe) gander at the anatomy of your neighbors, this Man-kini is great for stopping traffic when you have a yard sale too. Just set your hubby out by the mailbox (while wearing his mankini of course!) next to the "Yardsale Here!" sign and people will come by the truckloads. Most every woman is a bit curious about the male human body and they can buy up some of your old blow dryers, hot rollers and musty baby clothes while sneaking a peek at the same time!

the best one is this, because it is presumably serious: Quote:
This product is a costume piece, not intended as functional swimwear. Not surprising considering the very low price. It's a hilarious thing to wear to a party, but if you're shopping for something to wear to the pool on a daily basis, this isn't for you.
I did, however, wear it in the water, just fooling around in the river with a bunch of friends on a camping trip. Nothing terrible happened, although the fabric does turn slightly translucent when wet. I'm 6'5" tall, and it fit, although it did "ride up" quite a bit, and I had to be careful to adjust "the boys" to keep them from flopping out one side or the other.
Overall, I'd say this product is a good value for the money as a costume piece, for use in or out of the water. You can wear it to a pool party, hot tubbing, etc., but only if your friends all have a good sense of humor. I wouldn't wear it to a public beach or pool unless you're willing to risk some exposure, obviously, and I wouldn't wear it for swimming laps or any other kind of "serious" swimming, as it is a costume, not a functional swimsuit. Functional swimsuits ARE available in this style, but run upwards of $40, so for someone seeking a one-time gag, this product is an affordable alternative.
