funny/amusing site... opinions wanted

okay, so i posted a video from this site in another thread, kind of covertly, but i would like peoples opinions on this webpage (the videos mostly):

it is not my site, but my brothers, and he is just starting out in the advertising and web business. he did a lot of stand-up (100+ shows in his first year) when he was in southern california. but he just got a basic green screen setup and camera. he now lives in new york (brooklyn).

obviously, i know him better than anyone, and i know that some of the videos are better than others, but please give them (all, hopefully) a chance, and feel free to leave criticisms. i certainly have, and, as we all know, criticism makes us grow as artists.

i really hope this isnt against tb rules, because im not trying to sell a product, but i am trying to get more exposure for what i think is a promising young man.

also, im sure he would appreciate random pics or news stories for content (because i definitely jacked the bakon vodka thing from the ot forum).

thanks, and, like i said, any criticism is good criticism. beginner musicians have much to learn from pros, as do others in their medium of choice.

It is not bad, and definitely a good start. I recommend him to branch out more and spice things up.

It is also the exact same thing as Colbert's the word.. so he should try some different skits, maybe unique ones.

Not bad, there were some good jokes in there. I agree with the Colbert thing though, he needs to spice it up a little more, maybe involve some more people do skits. I did enjoy the car dealership one.

its funny, when he first sent me his first video, my first comment was that the little colbert head wip towards the camera could be lost. and, yeah, using "the word" format isnt super original. its such a useful way to deliver that kind of humor, but i do agree that he needs to be unique.

that, and, yeah, original videos are the way to get recognition. trust me, the ones he has up there are things i heard several times months and months ago, so i know theres more on the way. i will pass on the words of encouragement.
