Gecko lezard

I Will get gecko lezard next week. Is there anything I should know about?
I already read a lot about it, i asked some questions to the woman i buy it from. But do you have any tips to share?

i would learn how to spell first.

What kind? The leopard geckos are super mellow and will just hang out with you. A tokay gecko will try to bite your finger off and not let go. Just about all the rest will just run like hell so don't let them get away from you or they are gone. Do not grab any of them by the tail as they come off very easily. I think this is an evolved defense.

Just find out the type and google for care.

It's funny I've been on talkbass for about 9 years, I have a few hundreds posts (maybe a 1000?)
And it's the first time someone say anything about my bad english. I guess it's not that bad

It will be a leopard gecko.
We will meet the woman who raise them next saturday. We will have the choice between 4 of them.
We have pictures, they look really cool.

I have a salt fish aquarium, cats, dog etc...
It will be my first time with that kind of animals.
It will be different for sure!

I'm still reading what I can find on google and on wikipedia.
I just want to make sure that I will do everything right.
