Cool Geddy Lee for Halloween

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, I've decided I'm going to go as the great Geddy Lee for Halloween this year. I decided the other day that going as Geddy would be perfect for me this year mostly because I ripped my last contact lens and have been having to wear my glasses until I can afford a trip to the eye doctor. And I also have somewhat long dark hair and rock a soulpatch. So I was thinking of just wearing jeans or black slacks with either a Toronto Blue Jays or Rush t-shirt and maybe a prosthetic nose. I'm not sure if Geddy would wear his own band's shirt or not. Any thoughts or suggestions? And what are YOU dressing as this year?

Oh yeah. I don't own a Ric or a Geddy Jazz, so I won't be carrying a bass around with me all night. Problem solved. Unless I can find one of those stupid inflatable ones. But it would HAVE to be a bass and not guitar. Otherwise I'll have my hands free to hold Molson Ices or Labat Blues and sign autographs.

$10 says no one will get your costume. Bring a rotisserie with you. At least that way you'll make some friends.

so..... essentially, you are going as....YOURSELF?

that should fool them.

i bet they'll spend all night trying to guess who you are under that fiendishly clever disguise.....

I agree with both of these guys, you could be Gene simmons, yeah I know, if you're a Rush fan, you might not be a KISS fan. The object of hallowe'en is to be something you're NOT, also, it's much more recognizeable. I went as Gene simmons once and everybody loved it - and all I changed from my regular wardrobe was I wore black clothing and did a really quick hackjob with face paint.

You need to get one of these shirts:

Since only Rush fans will understand your costume, this will give them a good laugh (if they saw the Time Machine tour, that is).

I was thinking about going as Waldo, but I have decided instead to be Mr. Hat for Halloween. I just need to make the hat.

You go to hell, you go to hell and you die!!!

First off, I love KISS! But the whole reason I picked Geddy is the fact that I wear glasses. I can't see sh!t without them! Otherwise I would totally go as Gene. I was actually considering going as Gene from the Dressed to Kill album cover before I tore my last contact. I've seen many a KISS costumes on Halloween in my day, but all of them are stage KISS. I thought painting my face like Gene and wearing a suit would be an interesting twist on the costume.

Why not go as Witchy-Poo instead....

It's just Geddy in drag.

Step one, buy an oversized cat in the hat hat.

Step two, get scissors.

Step three, put on hat.

Step four, cut out eye holes.

Voila.

Have two friends dress as Bob and Doug MacKenzie, and have them pay you five bucks all night long. Practice saying, "Hey, five bucks is five bucks!"
