general thread for college slackering

i woke up from my nap around 6 and said "okay, time to do homework"

i've been browsing talkbass/facebooking for the past hour.



this thread is for others in my same boat.

btw got a midterm on friday and finals start in 2 weeks w0000t

Same. I've got an essay due in tomorrow which I haven't finished, I've been on TB for the last 2h and I'm generally procrastinating.

I'm on my 6th year.I have one year letf to finish the college.I've completed 60 credits so far,one needs 137 credits completed to graduate.

That's actually a regular ritual for me, except I'm still in highschool

Oh, and I've got an essay due tomorrow that I haven't started as of 8:52 pm.

10:49 pm: I'm now beginning my essay, due tomorrow at 8:05 am

If I could write a paper for asian american history in an hour and 10 minutes and get a B, you can do it man

Last semester I started my final paper for music history at 12 am on the morning it was due. It was a very brief (10 pages) analysis of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, which I pulled off with the assistance of 2 bottles of 5 Hour Energy and 6 cans of Red Bull. Got a B+ for the paper, but that was one night I'd really rather not repeat.

Nah, I'm not worried about it, I always manage to pull through under pressure. What's got me worried here is my ADD's kicking in once again- it's been over an hour and a half and I only have 1 paragraph

"Under pressure" is the key term of my life.I was in a much similar situation when I was in high school.My education life was about to end as I failed all the classes.In 2 months I managed to pull out of there which everyone believed to be impossible.

Here's an example:
First physics exam grade:9 (over 100)
Second exam's grade:98 (over 100,I became the best student at physics after that,mind you I was about to be kicked)

And today,
In 5 years I was able to complete 40 credits in college (mostly due to sleeping&alcohol&TB problems),
last semester which ended 3 weeks ago,I completed 20 credits.
See? Under Pressure again.


ps:If we all sue Paul,I'm sure we can get away with a check with big numbers on it.

here's to another day of waking up, saying "class? can't do that" eating oatmeal then heading back to sleep (I'm currently in the eating oatmeal phase).

Felt like quoting a post from a few months earlier.

I repeated it again this semester - twice. Once with a paper on Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, and again three days later with one on cephalopod biology and behavior.

Im not any better. I had a French culminating due Friday but i didn't do it because I was on TB. I need to learn this time management thing all my teacher speak highly off.
Any tips?
