GE's Useless Advice Thread

Seeing as how my competition is putting out advice threads, I'm putting out my own. However I'm going to use Gibson's business model to double the price of the same product because if it costs more its better.

This is the GE $1 thread.

First piece of advice. Get out more.

Since when was I your competition? Where's the love, man?

...But you may be on to something with that business model

I used to know a guy named Andy who worked on a tug boat. He'd work for a week, then be off for a week. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

However, from what I've heard the people who work on tugboats are of dubious moral character. I hear they're borderline pirates who steal from each other.

Give me a dollar.

You became my competition once you posted a thread in OT.

Give me a dollar.

You want a Lionel Train set similar to the one Neil Young's son has.

Its user friendly from what I hear.

Give me 2 dollars.

I was thinking of starting a "Go ask someone else.... maybe*insert another advice thread authors name here* cares enough to advise you" advice thread. But I was wondering, what impact that could have on the advice thread market? Since it would be mostly a referral system, could I affiliate with other advice thread partners such as yourself, and charge a small referral fee? Should I have an exclusive deal with someone that is willing to run everyone else out of business? Should I dye my hair green or blue? And finally, on my Katana, I only have single menuki. Should I place it where the leading hand's palm rests, or where the fingers rest?

Generally good advice. If you're not looking for jewelry, or change, your dog swallowed, don't go digging around in dog turds.

That'll be .75 cents.

It depends on who you ask, but if you ask me it could cardiac arrest in you and destroy the market. And honestly, do you really want to destroy the TB economy even more? You should know better if your avatar has to go from state to state asking people for change.

You could, but then I'd sue you for something. Remember I'm using the Gibson business model.

Only if you sign with me. I'll just sue you later on down the line if I think this stops becoming profitable.

Dye the hair on your head green and anything below the waist blue. If she asks, at least your "its cold in here" excuse works.

Place the blade on your rest and have done with it.

However if you're going for historical accuracy you'd need to plunge it into your stomach and make a fillet-o-CurtyBob in which case it doesn't matter.

That'll be one dollar.

Cool. Do I get a receipt, or do I need to write a check? Also, before I go.... do you validate?
