Yeah, a credit of less than $2 for each ticket you can prove you bought. They know people won't cash them in, so TM is getting off too easy here. No one is getting a refund check.

I know, right? It's not like I'm going to be able to get a refund for the 30 odd tickets I've bought through them over the past few years.

Receipts for tickets? I keep ticket stubs, not receipts. Dammit Ticketmaster, why you so douchey?

I dunno. I have every email receipt, invoice and confirmation from every online transaction I've ever done, for over a decade. Emails don't take up much space...and a file in my documents or in my email interface keeps them all in one place.

We keep all of our tickets and have a collage made out of them. I wonder if the tickets will be good enough for a refund.

If that's the case then I'll be golden, but knowing Ticketmaster they probably won't accept those (because too many people actually keep those instead of receipts).

I wouldn't mind the service fees, but I fail to see how it's convenient for me to have to drive to a ticketmaster location. To me, calling it a convenience fee is the lie.

Go to the box office. That's what I do. Less fees. And support local music. Which I shouldn't have to say to bunch of bass players.

My current living situation rules out any box office visits. I do support local music to the cities I travel to on weekends though.

Also, I simply like to b****. It's a good time.

My only other option is stop seeing live music at venues contracted by Ticketmaster/LiveNation and that's just not going to happen.

All great points, I guess my music tastes have led me to smaller venues.

Other than a handful of bands, I guess mine has too actually. It's just that I see those bands several times a year that I have to deal with TM/LN. The Murat in Indy is still Ticketmaster/Livenation right? I was up there just a few months ago but can't remember. Like that venue.

I've gotten hundreds of tickets from them through the years. As per the class action suite, I can only get $25 back. Still, its not like I had $25 before...

Looks like the lawyers are the ones making out on this deal.

Also, the Counsel attorneys plan to ask for an award of up to $16,500,000 in attorneys’ fees and expenses, as well as $20,000 to the two plaintiffs who brought forward the class action in the first place.

"If, in any given year over the four-year redemption period, less than $11.25 million is redeemed by customers, Ticketmaster is going to donate the remainder to charity"

Guess I'll just let me $25 go to charity rather then dig out all the receipts

The crap is how much the f-ing lawyers made

A lot of box offices won't sell tickets as part of their agreement with Ticketmaster.

If I call the Bridgestone Arena Box Office to order pizza, I get transfered to Ticketmaster for anything less that 1/2 season tickets. That includes concerts, singe game tickets, the works.
