Ghana schoolboy launches solo famine fundraiser - US news - Giving - msnbc.com

This is nice. So often in America we only see Africans asking for money, not raising it!

The yearly salary in Ghana is $2500? $600 in Somalia? I know where I'm moving. I could live like Bill Gates for the rest of my life after selling my house and a few other things here.

Wow, what a great kid. And that's a heaping dose of perspective for us first-world types.

I've got a great friend from Ghana. Some of the stories he tells are insane to my first world perspective. A big ups to the lad raising money.
