This seems to be serious. I find it screamingly funny.

The beat is kinda catchy. At odd moments, this song pops into my head. You have been warned.

I played a place that had a rap group like that(Christian, i mean) a month ago. Except where i played the people were actually good as far as rap goes, and had non-retarded songs. Plus they were all actually black, not pretending and looking stupid...

Man, there could be a lot more side-hugging in that choreography.

I used to attend a church that would bring in groups like that (not that particular group, mind), and they're all pretty bad. Try and bring in kids that look like they keep up with the times and play watered down <insert rap, rock, country, whatever> with themes that don't even always have a decent or consistent message. There's far more important issues worth dealing with than friggin hugs.

There's plenty of Christian groups (or groups with Christians) that aren't lame:

Zao

As I Lay Dying

Flobots

Ace Troubleshooter (RIP.)

Maylene & The Sons of Disaster

(Disclaimer: I'm a christian and I give full-frontal hugs. )

AMEN.

It's not like I have some secret agenda with my hug. We're friends, let's hug like it's true.

So basically, can I grab a woman by the hips, start trying to turn her, and if she complains, say I'm being as friendly as I can be?

?
I'm not a big fan of TDWP, but have you listened to Underoath in the last couple of years? Their newest album, Lost in the Sound of Separation, is freaking great. It's massive sounding, and the bass tones are incredible.

Anyway, back to the original post, the song is "inspired" by a blog called "Stuff Chrisians Like." They had a blog on DVS (deep v-neck syndrome ) that hit home for me.

By the way, I'm a Christian who gives real hugs too. I just don't give them to many people.

Oh, and if anyone thinks that this is serious, you must have never been to a Christian youth conference. The group doing the rap was a comedy troupe, not an actual rap act. The "side hug" is just a thing that a lot of Christians do without thinking about it so as not to appear too "intimate" with a person of the opposite sex. It's not something that is actually promoted as far as I know.

"Gimme that christian side hug, I'm a rough rida', fill me up with christ love, gimme that christian side hug"

That makes zero sense. Like no sense. At all. I've never heard anything making less sense I'm confused, halp
