Lightbulb Gimmicks, gadgets, gizmos that WORK - found any?

List all PRODUCTS that YOU personally have had success with that you would have never thought could work. Or stuff that's relatively unknown that actually does work.

My examples are:

1. RainX - You really don't have to apply very often and it totally helps with the rain. On some of the cars I've used it on it actually eliminates the use of wipers. Also, the window washer fluid by RainX also works, although doesn't seem to be applied as evenly. Rainx works great for mirrors.

2. Chiggerx - Soothing and feels good on the skin. Doesn't have to be applied TOO much to keep those chiggers' bites from itching.

Great thread idea. I cant think of anything at the moment, but Rain X is real nice product. I dont even have to turn my wipers on sometimes, even in moderate rain.

Ever get frustrated trying to pull a single coffee filter off of the stack?

I have this plastic tweezer with rubber ends, I can grab a single coffee filter and drop it into the coffee maker filter housing in .4 seconds.

Another I just thought of: Ionic Hair Wand

It really does "condition" and make your hair better after just a couple times using it. Well worth the money for me.

Rain-X works great on satellite dishes too. Keeps them from icing up.

Pampered Chef ice cream scoop. I know it looks just like any other, but it works better than any I've ever tried.

That reminds me, these pizza cutters are nice and easy to use, and the plastic ones really work believe it or not.

And silicone stuff works well for handling hot pans, etc. Like this:

Plus, they're washable. Work a lot better than cloth stuff for me and they don't get hot at all.

Scissors, despite the hype, really work wonderfully when cutting paper.

The Hercules Hook, although I buy the generic variety specifically because Billy Mays angers me. My wife buys Oxy-Clean anyway.

The best adhesive remover I've ever found is also great for getting grease stains out of laundry.

Motsenbocker's Lift-Off, sold at ACE Hardware.

+1 for Swiffer, Magic Eraser, RainX, etc.

WD-40, really does have a million uses.

FoodSavers really do save your food, airtight with no oxygen to spoil. Use the freezer bag variety.
