Gin?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've seen beer threads, whisky (and whiskey) threads, rum threads, but not a gin thread. (Though I could always be wrong...)

What's your favourite gin?

For me, right now:

"They" claim it's intended for martinis, but I'm more of a gin-and-tonic man, especially when summer comes around. Still an excellent gin, rich, slightly sweet and not a hint of roughness at all.

That stuff is the ish in Gin and Tonics, but I like regular Tanqueray as well. My dad is also a fan of Bombay Sapphire and Hendricks Dry Gin (worth checking out because it's a different type of gin all together).

I also like Segrams, but only because of Snoop Dogg.

Bombay and Hendricks are really really tasty indeed. Gin and Tonics FTW!

Also I should put in a good word of Gin and Juice. That is a superb beverage.

Depends on the juice, methinks. Gin and pink grapefruit? Winner. Gin and tomato? Not such a hot plan...

Yeah, Gin and citrus. It goes best when you're laid back, with your mind on your money and your money on your mind.

The worst hangover of my entire life involved drinking multiple pint glasses of gin + grapefruit in honour of a friend's engagement. It's a very very delicious combination, but I have difficulty treating it as a relaxed experience.

The man wearing a lamp shade on his head lets you know this stuff will get you wasted. That's what I call good advertising.

It is. It's also a perfect example of lack of morals and proper thinking that exist in my neck of the woods, as the stuff is pretty much unknown to many bartenders over here. And when I explain what I wan't often comment that it must taste horrible...

And what heist said is also true. The best thing about gin is the clear, uppy drunk it gives but the side effects include severe lowering of standards that leads to intimate activities that are carried out in bathroom stalls in manner that makes MMA title fights look romantic.
