Girl Comes Out to Parents With Help From a Cake...

I found this incredibly touching. I imagine that the family must have a pretty awesome relationship based on the creativity and humor that hopefully made what could have been a challenging conversation a little more pleasant.

Cake always softens the blow.

"Hey hun, I baked you this cake"
- "Really? Whatever for?"
"Youre a terrible person, and Ive been sleeping with the babysitter. Im moving out this evening."
- "Wha-! I - I - just, do..."
"Hey, at least youve got something to eat your tears away"

That is definitely one of the funnier coming out stories I have heard. Good on her, she has a great sense of humor.
