Mine just got here. Like many people, I need these things like a junkie needs crack. That's probably the best analogy that can be drawn for the Girl Scout/Girl Scout Cookie Comsumer, that of drug dealer/junkie*. I've actually gone through the trouble of ordering from 3 separate people in an attempt to hide how many boxes I'm likely to consume by myself. Anyone else waiting for their order with sweaty palms and a nervous tick?
*This little reference is in no way intended to offend those who purchase Girls Scout Cookies, junkies, those who may at some point in the future become junkies due to forces beyond thier control, anyone who supplies or enables junkies, the Girl Scouts of the USA or anyone who volunteers with the Girl Scouts of the USA, who, regardless of thier pusher/user relationship, are all absolute angels when compared to the white trash of Wal-Mart.

The sales are over here, but this year we must have bought 25 boxes trying to take care of our friends' daughters, our son's friends' sisters, co-workers' daughters, and the pleading troops with moms staring you down outside shopping centers. I'm ashamed to admit we're down to about 2.5 boxes remaining, thanks primarily to my efforts.
To be honest, I'd much rather give them the $3.50 I pay for the box of cookies. They only get about $0.35 cents per box (so the story goes, anyway) so they'd net 10x what they make on a sale and I sure as hell don't need all those cookies.
