Ice cream and jam is a good combo too.

D.Don | I think that would be perfect...........if it weren't for the fact that we're only 16 so no access to grand marnier. Good suggestions though, so keep 'em coming |

They're chocolate crepes filled with a mixture of whipped cream and melted marshmallows folded together with Creme de Menthe and Creme de Cacao. They're chilled before serving. It takes about an hour to make them if you whip the cream and melt the marshmallows yourself. I suppose you could use Cool Whip and marshmallow creme, but I've never tried it. With some semi-sweet chocolate shavings on top with a dollop of whipped cream, these will blow the top of your head clean off.

fresh berries tossed with a little bit of sugar,
or strawberries tossed with a little sugar and black pepper.
Or just apricot jam
I did make this once, and it was a big hit. Pears, cherries, and apricots poached in a syrup flavored with tea. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/fo...D-FRUIT-109088 | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
