We all know which day it is today, and what happended a decade ago.

I am born and raised in a small european democracy. A democracy ensured by the willingness of America to step into two world words on our continent, and subsequently start an aid programme after WW2 which allowed Europe to
get back on its feat again. I don't think many of my age consider that.

Our fellings of horror and sorrow by withnessing the events that day, may not be known to americans, nor in focus among a people witnessing their loved ones vanish so quickly. And that's the way it should be!

Silence doesn't always mean lack of awareness, it can also espress respect.
