Oh lord... lol

Beavis sounds different and it's about as annoying as when Jim Henson died and Kermit started sounding different.

Based on the teaser Judge unveiled at the event, anyone expecting "Beavis and Butt-head" to veer from the path that made it a Gen-X favorite will be sorely disappointed.

Anyone expecting to laugh moronically like they did all those years ago, however, will be richly rewarded.
I remember in the beginning they did a lot of metal videos from lesser known bands at the time. When B&B gained ratings, MTV stepped in and told them what videos to play - most were utter crap. The whole Jersey Shore thing MTV's way of saying "we are still in control".

I credit B&B for introducing me to Clutch with the 'Shogun Named Marcus' video. God knows how long ago that was.

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.... uh-huh-uhhuhuhuhuh-huhuh

seriously though I've got B&B on DVD, I love it. My favourite part was when B&B had to make haiku poems in class.

edit: I also really like how the animation has evolved and become more polished. I don't mind low-budget/lower quality animation, but the earlier B&B stuff was a little too low quality for me to like sometimes.

Even B&B have to put some effort into making Jersey Shore appealing to the (B&B) viewers.

Snooki: "...But you usually dont have sex with your big brother."
Butthead: "You USUALLY don't have sex with your big brother."
Bevis: "But sometimes, you know your DTF, and ya know, no one else is around... its dark."
Butthead: "Mom and dad are at the movies."

I am pretty sure it has to do with Mike Judge getting older and his voice changing. I imagine him not doing these voices in a while... but then again.. I could imagine him doing these voices every day in conversation with people.

I watched this last night. Funny stuffy. I also watched the Jersey Shore episode of Southpark on Netflix too. Good stuff.

Well, I think the whole thing behind B&B commenting on music videos was that it was suppose to be what the average kids were doing at the time. These days, it's not watching music videos, it's watching Jersey Shore. And, yeah, I'm sure it's because it's on MTV, they are the bosses.
