I think that they still do the promotion that if you bring a CD of your band...you can get in free as a musician. (they don't take the CD...it's just proof). Otherwise, I believe it's like 15 bucks to get in. Maybe call first.

Melt..in Lakewood. Gourmet grilled cheese and other sandwiches...really good (if you like that sorta thing).
Der BrauMeister...german food (duh) (on W.130th and Lorain). Gotta sit in the "castle room"!
Any restaurant on Murray Hill (Little Italy)..fantastic Italian...all mom and pop places.
Ho Wah in Beachwood...excellent Chinese. Really fresh.
I feel like Zagat!
Or you could just go to Fridays (every other street corner)

Jaipur Junction in Strongsville has some great Indian food if you like it- the West Side Market in downtown Cleveland (right near the Rock Hall) is open twice a week and has great fresh meats, cheeses, etc. A real old world-style marketplace. There's a place in it called Frank's Brats that serves the best brats I've ever had. |

I've to work all weekend, except for a wedding I have to go to on Saturday, but if nothing else I can point you in the direction of some places to go.

Wow...I didn't know they raised the price on the RnR Hall that much!

As for a gravy buscuit, off the top of my head you'd either have to go to Bob Evans. I'm drawing a blank as to where else you could get one. There's a Bob Evan's other the other side of the freeway from where Quaker Steak is located (provided you ate at the one that is next to the Harley store).
Chances are good you drove up to Geneva to the wineries, that area has some of the best weather for grapes, outside California in the states.
Let me know what else you're looking for, I can more likely than not point you in the right direction.

I was trying to think if there was anything going on this week in town.
There is going to be an Aerosmith tribute band at the Warren City Amphitheater on Saturday night, which is free to the public. It's a great place to see bands, especially when the weather is nice.
If you like motorcycles there are places all around Niles that have have their bike nights on various nights of the week. Same goes with classic cars.
I'm trying to think of what else is going on in town.
If I get some free time and I'll try and hit you up, and maybe we can meet up for a beer or something.

I think if you call the HD dealer (next to Quaker Steak) they can tell you where all of the good bike nights are at. Quaker Steak has a classic car cruise on Sat or Sun afternoons and a huge bike night during the week. If you give them a call they can tell you for sure. They have the best parking lot for these types of things. Last weekend there were cars parked all around the circle. There are also classic car cruises at A&W on 224 in Boardman on Friday and at Chili's at the mall in Boardman on Saturday nights.
One thing while you are in the area is you need to try Handel's Ice Cream. There is one very close to North Road. They were USA Today's top ice cream place in the USA last year or the year before. It is good stuff.
The minor league baseball team, Mahnoning Valley Scrappers, has $1 beer night on Thursday nights. They used to have a Jimmy Buffet tribute band playing there at the same time. Tickets are cheap to the games. Always a good time.
A couple of other good places to eat is The Fifth Season restaurant in Austintown, they have wild game night (if that's your thing) on Thursday nights. Food is a little pricey, but I've never had a bad meal there. There is also The Upstairs restaurant in Austintown, they have good food, good bar menu. They have The Winedown below them, which is a nice bar that has a great selection of wines and other hard to find beers. Both of these places would be about 10 minutes or so from where you are.
The MVR has really good food and it is very casual. It is in downtown Youngstown. If the people you are staying with don't know where it is, it can be tough to find. They have bocce courts if that's your thing. It is a hole in the wall type restaurant, with good food.
If you are looking for a music store, there is a small shop near the mall, I've never been in it though. There are two stores near the mall in Boardman. There is a GC and a local store called New York Music, they are maybe a mile apart. NYM has new owners as of a few years back, they do carry some higher end stuff, but not a lot. I haven't been in the store for a while so I have no idea what they have anymore.
I know that is a lot to digest, I guess it all just depends on what you want to do.

I'm trying to see if I get some time, the problem I have is that I work 12 hour days, plus I'm in school full time right now.
How old is your young one? If young, there is a children's museum in downtown Youngstown which is supposed to be good for kids.

There is a place called Caballo Bayo www.caballo-bayo.com or you can try Salsita's which is at 5495 Clarkins Drive Youngstown, OH 44515 if you want to look up a map. Caballo Bayo would be closer to you. Actually there is a small place almost infront of the mall on Rt 422, just past where Handel's is located. They all have halfway decent food.
My schedule right now is I'm working until 5 or 5:30 all week, depending on what kind of overtime we are making the department work. I have school tonight. I've some studying to do over the weekend, provided I don't have to work.
When are you taking off for home? I may have some time tomorrow or Saturday, depending on work.
