I just got some Magic Hat #9 Not Quite Pale Ale. It's good stuff! Anyone else know of any good ones? I was at a local place with a HUGE beer menu, and they had some great Belgian stuff, but I don't remember what their names were. That probably means they were too good...

I've been disappointed by everything else since. The Amber is good, also try Purple Haze. They also have amazing seasonal blends like Strawberry and Wheat.
Never, NEVER get the Jockamo IPA (it's the Mardi Gras brew) or the Andygator.
Everything else is amazing. They're popping up in a lot of movies since filming is being moved to LA. Turbodog is good, but it's too heavy for every-day drinking. The Red Ale also isn't an "everyday" brew... but then again... I guess you all don't drink everyday. Well, if you've ever had Abita Amber, you would. http://www.abita.com/brew/index.html

I'd recommend Blue Moon. Blue Moon and Magic Hat #9 are the only beers I've discovered thus far that I really like. But I haven't looked around too much.

I also like Fat Tire, Shiner...
Highlife is the most musical, affordable beer ever. Every band I've been in buys a pack for practice. It costs less than water. |

You really can't go wrong with High Life, would "the champagne of beers" ever not classy up a band practice? Methinks not.

Yeah, it isn't fancy beer, but you can buy a half rack of Hamms for what you'll pay for a bottle of the fancy stuff these fellers are trying to get you to buy.
