Good day to die?

Sign in to disble this ad
So I'm listening to the song "Good day to die" from the new Godsmack album.

Is there a good day to die? According to the lyrics, there is.....
Cuz I've seen everything that I could see
And now I can say goodbye today
With all I know
Its time I said goodbye
Today is a good day to die

I've always envisioned a Tuesday as a good day to die.

The phrase is originally a quotation from a war cry of Sioux chief Crazy Horse. It's been spread around in many forms.

My favorite was in the movie Smoke Signals when John Trudell says "It's a great day to be indigenous!"

Sunday/Monday night, after a good weekend.

Probably a good gig this weekend, and no need to go to work !

I read this just as that song came on.

The album is great. Does anybody else think the song "Saints and Sinners" off the album has one of the sexiest bass tones ever?

Yeah man. I bought the CD online the other day. Been listening to it over and over since. "Love, Hate, Sex, Pain" is my favorite so far.

Godsmack? Please tell me there's a song where the singer angrily yells at the latest woman doing him wrong "Go away!" Seems to be their trademark.

I am gobsmacked that Godsmack still has a career.
