On my way to practice last night, I heard a report on the radio. A study had been done, and the conclusion was that good looking people are up to 15 IQ points smarter than average. They said it had to do with self-confidence.
A few minutes later I pulled in to the Burger King for some pre-practice dining. At the first window a gorgeous young lady handed me the wrong change and the wrong receipt. I alerted her to the mishap and she corrected it. Then at the second window, another beautiful young lady handed me the wrong meal and a drink I had not ordered.
Meh. I don't think I believe this study.

I think it has to do more with access to education. Most attractive, healthy people live in nicer areas with better schools etc... But of course there are exceptions.

But in support of the study, most of them around these parts don't appear to be very attractive OR too bright. Sorry, that sounds a bit harsh. ... or did this 'good looks = good IQ' theory just apply to women?... women who don't work at burger king?
Just wondering, was this study based on a sample of Jerry Springer applicants?
