I found some Youtube video of an old 70s science fiction TV show that I liked when I was a kid, and I added it to my 'favorites' so I could watch it later. Then when I went to Facebook, I see it's on my profile that I bookmarked it, and there's even a link to the video. I didn't really want to share that with everyone.
Oh well, it could have been worse, right? Could have been a nekkid chick video or something. Live and learn. |

The day after facebook entered a deal with WOW to gain access to information on their player base, WOW announced that anyone using the forums would have to use their real names. Ultimately, after a quick and vocal outcry and the disclosure of personal information about a forum mod who said "you can't find personal information about someone with just their name" and posted it, the new policy was dropped.
I feel facebook is becoming too invasive, so I no longer use it. I did loose contact with a few friends that I only had access to through facebook, but overall, I think leaving was a good choice. |

If in doubt about whether to share info or not, say NO. There are a number of stories online about how to change your security settings on Facebook.

I also liked "UFO" and "Space: 1999" BTW.

Ahhh the days of good story lines and cheesy special effects instead of the opposite of what we have to endure today... (except for Dr Who, of course )
