Good thing it wasn't an "adult" video

I found some Youtube video of an old 70s science fiction TV show that I liked when I was a kid, and I added it to my 'favorites' so I could watch it later. Then when I went to Facebook, I see it's on my profile that I bookmarked it, and there's even a link to the video. I didn't really want to share that with everyone.

Oh well, it could have been worse, right? Could have been a nekkid chick video or something. Live and learn.

One more reason to stay away from Facebook.

I quit facebook the day after I quit WOW, for the same reason. The day after facebook entered a deal with WOW to gain access to information on their player base, WOW announced that anyone using the forums would have to use their real names. Ultimately, after a quick and vocal outcry and the disclosure of personal information about a forum mod who said "you can't find personal information about someone with just their name" and posted it, the new policy was dropped.

I feel facebook is becoming too invasive, so I no longer use it. I did loose contact with a few friends that I only had access to through facebook, but overall, I think leaving was a good choice.

facebook is fine. You just got to be aware of what it can and cannot do

+1, if you know what you're doing it can be completely harmless

Once again we see someone accidentally sharing too much of his life online.

If in doubt about whether to share info or not, say NO. There are a number of stories online about how to change your security settings on Facebook.

Are you sure you didn't accidentally share it? I have the same email address for my google as my facebook and I've never had a favorited video show up on my page.

I gave up on FB when I started reading about my friend's ingrown toenails, turbo diarrhea, and the never ending competition of "omg, this is the saddest video ever!"

I enjoy hanging with the TB lot....my friend's can suck eggs

I'm on both, but I usually prefer the anonymity of TB. Still wondering about the OP's sci-fi show...

"The Starlost". I love the concept, although the execution was very cheesy. The back story is that a giant, multi-generational spaceship was built to carry the human race from a doomed earth to some new planet. During the journey there was some accident that disrupted communication and navigation. The show takes place hundreds of years into the journey, when most of the remaining people have forgotten they're on a ship. The three main characters have discovered they're on a ship, and are running around trying to find the control room and figure out the ship's course.

I also liked "UFO" and "Space: 1999" BTW.

Same here, I used to love those shows way back when.
Ahhh the days of good story lines and cheesy special effects instead of the opposite of what we have to endure today... (except for Dr Who, of course )
