Goodbye Adidas...Hello K-Swiss

Well, after probably 30 years of wearing nothing but Adidas trainers (or 'sneakers'), I fancied a change.

The old guys at the back, the new fellas at the front

They look really solid for that age. I'd almost think you'd be able to get another three decades more from them.

I may have to switch over to Adidas, because your 3 year old pair looks as good as my 7 month old pair of Vans

Seriously good bit of footwear. No exaggeration to say they've been hammered. I'd probably get another year out of them. But I saw the K-Swiss and just fancied a change. Super comfy and pretty cool too IMO.

Those K-Swiss trainers are nice.

I'm fairly settled in the New Balance (574) camp at the mo!

I have been mostly wearing Avia and New Balance sneakers. The Avia sneakers are very comfortable and durable.

I like my asics, although I only wear them when working out.

Never had a pair of NB. Don't like the big 'N' on the side.

Avia....never heard of them. I've never really looked beyond Adidas until now.

You have special trainers just for doing hard sums? I'm impressed.

They look like the sort of footwear you need to be doing exercise in to get away with.

For me, it's all about the cool

I wear my Adidas when it's cold enough or formal enough that I have to wear pants when traveling outside my apartment.

During the other 361 days of the year here in beautiful and laid back San Diego, I wear my flip flops or Vibrams for casual jaunts and my Brooks for work and for running.

Volleyball I prefer Asics.

Won't you need to update your track pants collection in order to match the five stripes now?

Never wear Adidas above the ankles if you want to stay cool.

Titus, let's face it, you just wanted more stripes on the side, you flashy beast.

I thought Adidas trackpants were de rigueur for those in the UK? Do high/mid top Adidas count as above the ankles?

I did especially like the blue and yellow casual shoes the Olympians were wearing in London, anyone know about those?
