I'm not to sure what to do, so I thought I'd post and hopefully someone here on TB might have an answer. My laptop just got done doing some updates and one of them was the new google 9. Now my tool bar is gone and my favorites as well. It really sucks! Does anyone have a solution to this.
Thanks in advance. |

By favorites I assume you mean the bookmark bar - click on the wrench, then Tools, then 'Always show bookmarks bar'.

It installed along with some other updates. The thing that sucks is my old toolbar and other things I use on a daily basis are gone. I did take your advice and use the wrench, but now I have to redo all of my favorite websites. It took awhile to find them in the first place. |

If you google "google 9" you will see that's it a new version of google chrome. It just would have been nice if I had the option not to install it. It seems that this has happened to other people as well. |

Which it does from time to time. After I clicked the continue button it restarted and my homepage looked the same (standard google page), but my toolbar was gone. |

If you're talking about the menu bar, maybe you can tell us what you need from it, I'll tell you the corresponding keyboard shortcut.

Now that I've had sometime to get used to it, it's not so bad. I just had to download a new toolbar, the favorites are now on my right side of the page (before on the left), I just had to click the star. There still all there. It's the same classic google I had before, just rearanged. |
