Google Street View

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, so here's the scoop...

Currently I'm looking for my first house. After searching through the online realty sites, I found a few houses in my price range. After checking out the ads, I decided to use the really cool (and possibly controversial) Google street view to check out the area.

Check out these pics of a vehicle parked on this street:

Let's look a little closer...

Spin 'er around a bit and...

Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere

So...feel free to post any that you guys come across.

That third one in the OP looks like the driver is looking right at the camera.

That's because the cars that take these look goofy and he was probably like "what the...??".
Kinda like we're all thinking looking at those pics.

Google's pretty good about looking through street view and editing out when certain area's get big hits. I remember there was one that popped up in Spain I think you could see some "working girls" at a truck stop apparently negotiating prices and showing the goods. Needless to say that stretch of road is no longer visible on street view.

Street View is a funny thing.
It the US government did it, you'd see the liberalist crowd all in arms singing the OMG mah privacy! song.
But since Google did it, it passes as a cool feature.

Lately I have been seeing a Google car driving about with a huge camera on the roof. I have waved every time. Maybe I will be on Google street view in the near future?

The biggest spanish forum OT section has a thread like this, but the deal there is to find hookers who had been spoted waiting for customers.
I wouldnt have imagined that there could have been so many of them!

I was at Verizon buying a new charger for my phone the other day, and one of the sales guys showed me his phone that had street view on it. It looked really nifty and useful.

Wasn't there a picture that popped up with a couple doing the dirty? I remember hearing something about that.

Did you rotate the view to the other side of the street?
