I'm going to go out on a limb and surmise she may not be nearly as slick as in her youth. I'm guessing much more dry and wrinkled.

Time moves on. The thing to remember is that the Airplane and Dead were not teenyboppers even when they were in their prime. During the summer of love, 1967, Slick was already 28.

Grace was both the best and worst of 60's rock. The Airplane was a real SanFran acid rock pioneer that set very high (pardon the pun) standards in music, but later on Grace was an embarrassing drunk on stage and sometimes passed out well before the set was over. If you ever get the chance to see video of the Airplane in Germany.........quite sad!

well a lot of her contemporaries didn't make it far into the seventies,much less into their seventies....she was part of something that people will remember a long time,even if the starship stuff was....well.......

the airplane was one of the first real concerts i saw .....

a lot of guys here will be doing well if they get anywhere near where she did.....
