This is great...ill before an essay deadline.

Why do these things always happen at bad moments?!

I started out with a cough and sore throat, and now I'm burning up, I can't stay warm and my throat feels like I'm swallowing razorblades. My neck is also very swollen.

It's just great when I have an assignment due in tomorrow and I'm not even half-way done.

Then perhaps you should save your strength for actually working on your assignment rather than posting on TalkBass.

This thread is just a veiled excuse to brag about the fact that you have an assignment.

I might get an extension so I can finish it when I DON'T feel like ****.

Where I come from, unless you're in the ER, you finish the assignment and don't complain. Everyone gets sick but deadlines are deadlines.

I've got professors who have offered me extensions that I refuse. If I take them, I only slack off more.

Drink some orange juice, take a nap, and give it another go.

Luckily I'm almost done now...only 200 words to go and I could easily do this tomorrow morning.

No offence, but how big is this assignment if you weren't half way done a 1/2 hour ago and now you're almost done?

It's a big assignment considering it's worth 50% of my module mark.
