Miami Bankers Catch 1,000-Pound Shark - FoxNews.com
Pretty disgusting to me. One of the "Fat bankers" said, " Now I don't have to watch Jaws, I lived it".
Too bad you did not "live" the part of the captain.....dick. |

My issue is with some fat bankers killing a shark and then making jokes about it. Pretty much, they just did to a Shark what they have been doing to this country. |

I might slightly understand if they did it for pure sporting purposes, but they are going to eat the meat.

| | | | I have no problem with folks eating what they catch/kill. I've hunted a time or two myself. Trophy hunters/fisherman ought to be used for bait, imo, however.

I don't have any problem with fishing - I do it all the time. I don't have a problem with taking/eating fish - I do it all the time.
16' Mako sharks? Marlin? Etc. I'm going to let go.

Never mind the difference between fully adult breeding populations and culling for food.
This is a rather rare critter we're talking about here.
If folks were regularly hauling in 16' Mako's - it wouldn't bother me a bit... but this is sort of like using a rare million dollar stamp to mail a letter. Except the stamp belongs to all of us.
