Yup, it's Westboro.
Story not pasted because it has religious content.
Anyway, we can discuss the civil liberties vs common decency aspect right? |

Apparently they will hoist US flags to block their view and start singing patriotic tunes ("God Bless America", "America the Beautiful", etc) when the WBC starts chanting and doing their protest songs.

Protesting the the funeral of a guy that played the role of a gay person in a movie That's almost comical |

"Those individuals showed what one motivated Marine and his rifle can do!"
Of course I wouldn't condone that kind of behavior, but I could understand it.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, or, in this case, the deluded and misguided wheels who are distorting the peaceful message of Jesus get national attention.
On a side note, why is Fox News quoting Wikipedia in a news article? That's pretty disturbing in its own right. Quote: |
The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies the church as a hate group and the organization is monitored by the Anti-Defamation League, according to its Wikipedia entry.

I'm pretty sure they are They don't get very many supporters outside their core group of whackos. |

Now these wackos need some other target. It's disgusting. |

Seriously, better these people are allowed to scurry around protesting in the open than hold up in some shack somewhere mailing letterbombs to "sinners."
