'Guess we'll have to duck next week

It's nowhere near as big as the dinosaur-killing rock that crashed into Earth 65 million years ago, but the 50-meter (164-foot) diameter asteroid known as 2012 DA14 is big enough to take out a good-size city. Fortunately, astronomers say, it harmlessly will fly by Earth when it draws near our planet next Friday.

I don't know about you, but I think someone or a team needs to go out & break the asteroid into smaller pieces.

After which, the Moon, in a fit of jealousy, will entreat Mars to a hot towel on the face and a nice rub down. Shortly thereafter, of course, the asteroid will have its job contracted out to Keiper Belt Objects who work for peanuts.
