Just got me two of these babies for the launch of the official Lordi horror flick, Dark Floors. The movie was mostly shot in my hometown. It was originally going to be premiered in Lapland but then the local tourist board and such intervened, dumping cash on it so that they basicly told the Laplanders they can do certain things to themselves and the movie is going to be premiered where it was shot. So, guess who's taking his girlfriend to a World Premier - with A-class seats?
It's going to be shown in front of about 5000 seats of the local hockey arena, two days before the official launch, plus a full length Lordi gig after that! I'm sure the movie is going to be pretty generic horror crap, but I'd pay the tickets just to see the gig. After all, you don't see too many bands from Finland who've won the Eurovision, toured with Ozzfest and now release a movie! It's going to be monstrously cheezy, yet great!
