I like Beamish better than Guiness, but it's hard to come by in Texas
Murphys is really good also

On the very first night of our trip to fantastic Ireland, we went from Dublin to Howth-
It was, for us, coming from Los Angeles, the equivalent of our 3 AM in the morning, I believe.
Before the excellent salmon dinner arrived... Guiness.
It was the best tasting beverage I had ever had.
I followed it up with many more during our tour of this incredible country, as well as a few shots of Jameson's too,
but Guiness is a World Treasure.
The best.
And so is Ireland, btw, and I'm not even Irish!! |

But, no matter where we drink it, or how we drink it, we can all agree we love it |

-Mike | The quality of guinness varies from pub to pub within Ireland let alone a few thousand miles. Guinness have quality teams here to try and ensure some consistency with their prdoduct. But some pubs have a reputation for better Guinness over others.
It really is a tempremental drink I think more so than any other. Tasting is believing is all I can say really.
