Guitar Center on Fire in Raleigh, NC?

Sign in to disble this ad
I think the Guitar Center in Raleigh burned down. They gave an address of where the fire trucks were fighting a fire and my wife looked up the address and said it was the address of Guitar Center.

I guess they are going to have a real Fire Sale now. Though it makes me wonder with Sam Ash across the street if it was an accident.

I just read about it on The Gear Page, and saw a snip from an article that said three people were inside at the time, but I understand no one was hurt. Thankfully! I feel bad for folks who might be losing a job or missing work for a spell because of this! Ugh what a bad time of year for that to happen.

It's also true that it makes me think about "fire sale", and that depending on condition I'd be very interested in some items!

I'd have thought it would have broken out in the guitar area from all the blazing shredding. [/sarcasm]

Wonder what will happen to the damaged gear? Nothing worse than the smell of smoke damaged stuff. Sad though, bet they were stocked to the ceiling for Christmas.
