Is guitar pro free?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey everyone,
I was looking at getting guitar pro because I've heard great things about it, but I did some research on it and it says it costs $60.00. Then I've heard other people say that it is free to use.So I've got two questions:
1)Is it free to use or do I have to pay the $60.00?

2)If you download it on your computer, does it slow it down alot or have any other problems?

Be Blessed,
Steve

You can download a trial for free but the actual program costs $60. The trial sucks, you can't really do much.

I found it worth the $60. As a beginner bassist I find it easy to see how the basslines fit in.

$60 isn't much when you consider all that it does and the almost unlimited amount of tab available for it. I haven't had any trouble with it on my Mac. I got the CD instead of the download, I don't always trust downloads.

Does she seem a little.... Wilsonish?

That would be due to the fact that the spirit of Mark's avatar has consumed her's, thus transferring some of Mark's "difference" into Dis.

It's a great process. Everyone though they were making fun of Mark, but they were really just feeding right into his plan.

Guitar Pro files have both sheet music and tab. You can alter it so you can be viewing only sheet music, only tab, or both. You can also expert the sheet music or tab (or both) into a pdf or a rtf file, which can come in handy.

It is superior to Power Tab in tons of ways and is one of the best learning programs I've ever used. It is also great for tabbing out some little riffs you come up with and want to memorize.
