At 52, he suddenly died from a heart attack. He was the dean of the music faculty of one of the universities I work with. Not just my boss, but a great friend. A terrific musician with a great sense of humor. Few times in my life I've felt so devastated over someone's death. Rest In Peace, my dear friend Chucho.

May you and all of his friends and family find peace and comfort in your time of loss.

Fantastic piano playing on that video - and what a great performance overall.

Musician RIP

Sorry for your loss, as well. Losing a friend is hard.

Cool piece of music, too. Kind of reminded me of Ron Carter's, "Friends" CD.

Sincerely,
Matt.
