My friend Timmy has a hacky sack. I'm not good at it tho. Also I find the word Hacky Sack to be oddly humorous.

I used to be quite good, came with playing soccer. I could do a whole bunch of tricks, but I had to set up for them, I couldn't just do them.

I'm quite good. It's a great social thing to do, and it gets you casually moving during breaks.

I enjoy hacky sack. Used to play a lot in high school. Not so much now.

I played a lot in high school.

Nobody at college takes part, so it died out with me.

Hacking alone is like drinking alone. Shouldn't be done.

I play hack at school. I use steel toe boots though.

I'm also terrible at it.

Sentence number two has a direct correlation to sentence number three. Skate shoes, old school vans or chucks are the only good shoes to play hacky sack with.

I used to be pretty good, and would hack with some other guys who were also pretty good where I spent a lot of time hanging out. Then some of those guys stopped coming around and some other guys who were pretty terrible started getting in the circle a lot more. When it goes from "hey, check this trick out" and "sweet save... do it again" to "AWESOME! WE ALL KICKED IT AND IT DIDN'T HIT THE GROUND!!!" the fun kinda gets sucked out pretty quickly.
