Oh dang.....I watched this movie yesterday after the Florida game. I wish I hadn't. Some of those scenes have scarred me for life. I know that Hannibal Lecter is not a real person, but the person who came up with those books/movies is demented. That movie is jacked up.
I wish I never saw it now.

Oh, and avoid Hannibal Rising, in either book or movie form. Both are disappointments. |

I have young kids, can't see the movie. I don't have time to read the book.
I found the script amazing! I have a vivid imagination and it laid out the scenes perfectly. More of a screenplay than a script I guess. Just finished it. |

Definitely not for the squeamish or those with good, vivid imaginations.

And I love reading scripts, but only after I've checked out the films or the source material (book, short story, w/e). But there are a bunch of pitfalls to reading scripts that I won't bore you with, especially considering you had a respectable and legitimate reason for doing so. |

What to ponder here is why would someone put such an effort into creating a hoax website with contact capabilities...how does the owner(s) of that website respond to inquiries?
I find the Kanamits, to be a much more entertaining diversion. |

Oh, and avoid Hannibal Rising, in either book or movie form. Both are disappointments. | Disagree with the film being bad (haven't read the book). I thought everything about the prequel was of good quality and high production values.
It even lacked Julianne Moore which is a plus.
That said, my girlfriend agrees with you about the climax scene in the film (I'm assuming the one you're bothered by in Hannibal). I rewatched the edited-for-teevee version yesterday and was disappointed by the lack of good supporting shots.
I really dig that scene.

(for those of you curious...Hannibal and Clarice end up as couple...they run off together after chowing down on Paul Krendler's brain...)

I really dig that scene. | We can agree to disagree on the relative cinematic and literary merits of Hannibal Rising, but I don't remember saying anything about the climax in Hannibal, care to shine some light on that? |

Guess I didn't make it clear to whom I was remarking.
