You need anti-spyware and anti-virus.

Ad-Aware is good, and AVG is good. Both programs are free.

Hi.

Your computer is most probably infected and needs some TLC in a form of cleaning/spyware/antivirus programs.

There was a thread a while ago about different free antivirus programs.

I use AVG free and have been a happy camper.

Sam

Run the cleaners in Safe Mode since you know you're infected.

I'm glad that I've never gotten anything like this. It sounds extremely annoying

Get yourself a firewall, some anti-virus software and some anti-spyware software.

I use Zonealarm for my firewall, AVG for my anti-virus and I have Spyware Blaster as a spyware blocker and Spybot: Search and Destroy to catch stuff that might have slipped through the net.

Bleh, this happens to me too when I want to press "post reply" here on TB. I get redirected to some site named basscentral. I guess it's time for Spybot Search and Destroy to do its job!

download, update, and run malwarebytes. free, and has caught problems that spybot and symantec have both missed.
