Exactly 200 years ago today, on Feb 12, 1809, Abe Lincoln and Charles Darwin were born.

Two men who each changed the world in significant ways.

Happy brithday, guys.

While not 200 years (though it probably seems it to Barbie... who would have thunk Ken to be gay?!?)

2004 - Mattel announced that "Barbie" and "Ken" were breaking up. The dolls had met on the set of their first television commercial together in 1961.

If you look closer, my statement was very specific. All Great men have epic beards. That does not mean that all men with beards are great. Take Mark Latimour, for example...

Bravo, sir! (on the Lincoln/Darwin Fish)

Each man freed humanity in his way, both are great human beings, among those that make me happy and proud to be human.

A most momentous day, indeed.

Darwin!

Happy birthday to you,
You worked in a zoo!
You smelled like a monkey
And you evolved from one too!

“To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.”

Charles Darwin

Happy b day

Charles Darwin

Happy b day
However, it is nonetheless exactly HOW the eye came to be, and this is incontrovertible. And Darwin's discovery explains it perfectly.
