I can't believe it was only ten short years ago that I signed up to become a member of the Talkbass community. What was it John Lennon said - "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" - or something like that.

Thanks guys!
I was using my Windows 98SE computer w/ a 6.4 gig hard drive and dial-up. Average for the time.
I played my '71 Jazz through my new '99 SWR Basic Black with The Tiger Blues Band here on L.I.
I still play the '71 almost every day.
I'll still be playing it 10 years from now.
I wonder what kind of computers we'll have.
