Thanks so kindly TBers. It's 45 years today. Heck, I'm old enough to have fathered the father of Valenti Basses....I think.

Three weeks ago this was me:





Two weeks ago I almost didn't make it. I was in the Chugach Mts of Alaska and survived an avalanche. Here's a pic of the avi debri around me looking up hill: grainy because of the flat light:






Skiing is still going strong with Squaw open until May 11th.

For my b/day month not only did I survive an avalanche but we had a series of earhquakes last night. Crazy...
